NGC 7380

I started to image the Cocoon Nebula on Tuesday night , using the Ha and OIII already setup in my camera , however when I started to process the image on Wednesday it wasn't going the way I wanted , and would mean changing the filters in the camera to RGB , so for Wednesday night I thought I would have a go at a target perhaps better suited to Ha & OIII .. and the Wizard seemed to be a good option .

this isn't finished as I only have Wednesday nights data , but I'm pretty pleased with the data so far .. 

12 x 600 sec Ha 

9 x 600 sec OIII 

So 3.5 hours total integration time ..

Excellent .  Clear and sharp. Nice palette. This target is interesting in SHO so if you get SII it will be very nice

Hi Rod , I'm hoping it will be clear tonight to gather some more data ..  I will have a play with SHO 👍
