Tak FSQ106N focus shaft size

Hi Guys 

I have an old Blue FSQ tak and I want to fit an auto focused on it. 

It’s in France at the moment so I can’t measure it. Does anyone know the diameter of the coarse side of the shaft. My sesto senso focused won’t fit the N version but it has bushings to fit the new ED version. I want to see if the adapters they sell for 33mm or 37mm will work.

 It's 8mm. I picked up a working micrometer in Trezzini.

Ha Ha excellent. This might mean that the Pegasus is the only focuser that will fit, based on it having a 4mm-8mm bushing

Can you measure this bit too, see the image. If its 25mm then the extra coupler is not needed.

Was that 8mm on the 1:10 side? That rings a bell, but I could not remember which side it was on. The 1:1 or the 1:10

Is that part of the 10:1? If so I've removed it on both your scope and mine because both stopped working. The shaft is 8mm on both sides.

ok thanks. Hmm so I guess there is just the shaft coming out the focuser. Right Pegasus it is then I think.

You can also try Lakeside motors... Reliable and they can do adapters to fit anything.
