HELP

I finally have my ASICAP camera set up but when I go to save the footage on my Mac it saves under a .FIT file as opposed to an .MP4 , .AVI or any other common video file you can run on a mac and I’m at a total loss.. it won’t let me play the video or share it on anything. I tried changing the setting on the app to save under something different but I can’t figure it out. It’s probably something simple but I need help.

Hello and welcome to SGL. The .fits file format is a still image format. What camera are you using with the software  ?

Yes, probably a setting in the capture software. Let us know what you are using and someone will be able to give you tailored advice.
