Has anyone tried AstroSnap with success

Hi All' Has anyone tried AstroSnap with any success.I was trying out the software lastnight with a SC1.5 webcam on long exposure on a number of deep sky objects but nothing was coming up on the laptop screen.Can anyone give me any advice Thanks.Taff

I've tried AstroSnap but with an unmodified Philips ToUcam 740K (the egg-shaped one).

There's an options button that brings up a whole raft of configuration tabbed controls, one of them is long exposure, I think.
