cable question?

Ok, so I think I have all that I need now for autoguiding with the exceptions of 2 things, suitable software and a way to connect the lappy to the autoguide port on the mount.

Can someone advise the best / easiest to use auotguide software, I will be using a webcam / neximage as the guide camera to start with. And also a suitable cable for autoguiding.??

PHDGuide is probably the easiest software to use...

And you will need an ST4 port adaptor for the laptop. There are a few different ones out there I use a Shoestring Astronomy GPUSB not the cheapest option but works a treat.
