What am I doing wrong?

Hi all, I bought this setup and excitedly put it together today, only to find that anything I looked at through the scope was out of focus (even when trying to look at clouds and with the focuser all the way extended).

Did I get the wrong length adapter? Could it be an issue with the telescope?

Update: I attached the included 2" extender tubes and now I can focus

Glad you sorted it. Scopes are often built to be used visually with a diagonal, which adds a lot of distance. As you have discovered, an extension tube does the same job.
