Altair flattener question

Recommended Posts

I have just brought an Altair 130EDT ..  I want to attach their :-

Altair PlanoStar 3" 0.79x 3-Element Reducer for 102 115 130mm Altair Triplet Refractors

https://www.altairastro.com/altair-planostar-3-0.79x-3-element-reducer-for-102-115-130mm-altair-triplet-refractor.html

unfortunatly it looks like no one has one of these available .. but this item is available:-

TS-Optics PHOTOLINE 3" 0.79X 4-element Reducer and Field Flattener / Corrector for Astrophotography

https://www.365astronomy.com/ts-optics-photoline-3-0.79x-4-element-reducer-and-field-flattener-corrector-for-astrophotography.html

They look like the same thing , even probably made by the same company , but one the Altair has 3 elements and the TS has 4 ..

has anyone any experience of these products , can I use the TS - Optics unit on my scope ?
