roblewis
Hi all This is the first post on this site for me although I've been registered for a while. I need some help with galaxy identification. I recently acquired the attached image of M100. I can see an additional 5 galaxies on the image. The obvious one is to the left of the frame. There is a faint one near the top of the frame at the 11'o clock position and another half way between this and M100. There is another faint one at about 6'o clock position half way to the edge of the frame and one at the 4'o clock position. It would be interesting to know what galaxies they are. Unfortunately the sky was not clear for long enough to get good colour data so had to make do with mono. I would be grateful if someone could identify these.
