Is traditional long exposure imaging dead?

Ah, yes, dithering is a problem with such "long" exposures :D

Do a calculation, maybe you'll be better of with 4-5s exposures and no dithering? There will be natural dither from PA error and PE.

This implies no guiding as well - forgot to add (but here it is now)
