ED80 question.

Does anyone know what the thinking was behind Skywatcher/ Orion using the 100mm tube instead of the 80mm?

I might be wrong but perhaps it enables easier/better baffling?

Makes sense Steve, though it seems funny that Celestron went with the 80mm tube. The Skywatcher scope is pretty big for a 80mm, it's not a problem for me but could be for the people who take scopes on planes as hand luggage.
