Darker skies

Hi all, 

My parents live under bortle 4, 20.65 magnitude skies, half an hour drive away.

I live further north under bortle 6, 19.32 magnitude skies. Would there be a big difference imaging wise / exposure length if i were to image from their garden ? 

Finally, we have a caravan in Norfolk with class 4, 21.64 magnitude skies. Is that a huge difference over 20.65 mag? That's a 2 and a half hour drive away so because of work etc. I can't get there all the time, but I'm wondering if clear sky weekends it may be worth it now and then.

Hi, I am in a similar situation to you. I shoot from my Dads in Bortle4 on the Isle of Wight with DSLR and get good results. If I do the same at home in Bortle6 the results are not as good. I am planning on going Narrowband for home and RGB when on the IOW.
