Star Adventurer

I’m all worked up about getting my star Adventurer package with wedge/counterweight in a week. This August I’ll be taking a road trip for a week to the eastern provinces and, some great dark skies. I’ll be giving it a whirl we’ll before that, gaining practice for the trip, if anyone had tips and tricks then weigh in please, anything that will make my experience more fruitful. Original,

i was going to use my GP Mount instead, but, it is nowhere near as light and portable as the Adventurer and space is slim on long road trips. I was wondering if there’s a way to adapt the Adventurer to my skywatcher tripod rather than buying a camera tripod. My current Manfrotto camera tripod broke when I accidentally ran it over with my car lol.
