Back Latitude adjustment bolt will only turn a little bit

Hi i am looking for some advice on my back Latitude bolt.Tonight i  was turning the bolts to line up my EQ6 mount the front bolt on the mount was turning ok.But when i went to turn the back bolt it only turned a little bit.Even when i was pressing in the red button and tried to turn the handle the bolt only move just a bit.At the time the scope and the weights were off the mount.Please do any one have any idea, what i can do i was thinking could it be the weather stopping the bolt from turning because tonight it is very cold and frosty even my mirrors' were misted over.Thanks for your time to read.Mark
