A very pretty and graphic depictions of a stars death throes. The poor victim  had to undergo two violent episodes before it got some peace.    Amazing how serene these huge, Nay, mega huge events look so beautiful to us when condensed  into a short period of time. 

The unimaginable violence in the universe is masked somewhat by these superb images.         These processes are ongoing constantly, and much of it still beyond the reaches of our modern day detection methods.

This is a very worthwhile demonstration Stu. which staggers even the most knowledgeable of Astro. Science people I'm sure.

I shudder to Imagine what the JWST instrument is going to reveal when it's sensors start their work many light years beyond what we see here.
