[Beyond_Vision]

This was taken just before going to Kielder and I have only just got around to processing it. Exposure 11 x 10mins, 1hour 50 mins in total.

Taken with a APM TMB 105, Televue 0.8 FF/FR, QHY8 CCD and guided with a 102mm Bresser/DSI-II using PHD. Stacked in DSS Log(Sqr Root) curves applied, Dynamic Background Extraction in Pix Insight LE and finished in PSCS3 with Noels Actions.

Here's and interesting comparison a previous capture with the same scope from the same location taken with my DSLR. I was quite surprised at how much more OIII was picked up by the DSLR in comparison to the QHY8.

Nicely captured and processed Kevin.

Interesting to see the QHY/DSLR difference. One would expect different sensitivity but I'm surprised at the difference in OIII.

Thanks for the comparison image Kevin...I'm firmly in the modded DSLR camp myself at the moment especially with the credit crunch on the horizon.
