Using Canon lens with ZWO 1600MM?

Hi there, 

Just wondering if anyone has ever used a Canon lens (Or any camera lens) with a ZWO 1600MM and  filter wheel?

I currently use my Canon 7D with 400mm 5.6 L lens and really want to upgrade to a scope and dedicated Mono Camera. Cannot afford both at the moment. Initially thought about getting scope first and using my DSLR for a while and then getting the dedicated camera later on. Thinking that the dedicated camera would be a lot bigger upgrade if I could use it with my current lens.

Any info would be much appreciated.

I’ve used my Nikon 300mm f4.5 lens with my ASI 1600mm and if you have a quick look around there are quite a few using the Samyang 135 (which I’ve now bought)
