Star alignments on ioptronCEM 60

Hi, to all ioptronCEM 60 owners, help wanted.

Although ‘zero position’ and other settings all appear good , when I select the first  of the the 3star alignments the slew stops quite wide and it takes a while

before I can centre it in the EP.   by which time the procedure asks for the next star to be selected and I have to begin again

>........Obviously the initial GOTO on the Mount is not very accurate.

Is there a way to  allow more time to centre the star? Or perhaps another way to complete the 3 star align.
