Hi Everyone,

These are my first attempts at Pacman:

using the Samyang 135mm + Atik428 (fl=135mm, 9x600s of Ha and OIII),

followed by the WO-ZS71 + Atik428 (fl=330mm, 12x600s of Ha and OIII),

Preprocessed in PI (DBE, HT and LF), and completed in PS (Levels and Curves).

Really not sure about my star colours but maybe that is what you get with HOO.

Had planned to add fl=510 using the SW-ED80DS + Atik but the clouds have stopped play - until another day - maybe!

Comments and suggestions welcomed.

Thank you for looking.

Adrian

If my math is right, that is a total of about 7hrs of data? Or are the sub numbers split between the filters (so 3.5 hrs total)? Either way, nice result.

Hi!

Your maths is indeed about right - 7.5 hrs in total; 3.5 hrs on the Samyang at f2 and 4 hours on the ZS71 at f/5.9. I will try and image the same target with the ED80DS as well one day and, as you point out, it should pretty much fill the chip. I was interested to see how much detail I lose by using the 135mm Samyang - and checking out the FoV as given on Sky Safari. I may as well try and get the full set with the ED80!

Thanks for looking.

Adrian
