Finding photos by date and location

Hi, I'm new here so please be gentle!

I just got a telescope from the classifieds section here, and my 10yo son and I had our first outing with it last night - which was great!  I was wondering how my view/equipment would have compared to other peoples' and assumed that there might be some kind of database that people upload their photos to, tagged by date and location?

A Google image search (e.g. "photos of Saturn in UK last night") was not really what I was after.

So... is there a predominantly popular database, or do Astro people tend to just use Flickr/Instagram/Twitter etc?

Hi and welcome

Astrobin tends to be one of the most used: http://www.astrobin.com/

Photos can *also* be tagged by date and location, but that's not always the case though
