astro mick
Hi. This image was taken a couple of nights ago.It shows NGC7000 otherwise known as the Californian Nebulae. This is the first time i have attempted this target. It was taken using my ED 80 at F7.5 and a Canon 1000D. The temp of the camera never dropped below 21 degrees. It required full calibration using Bias/Darks and Flats. I took 30 x5min subs with my modded 1000D,and 30 x Ha using a clip filter. These images looked horrible when they downloaded,so was not too happy. I blended 25% of the Ha into the red channel of the canons RGB. Cheers. Mick.
