iOptron ZEQ25 PEC correction

Hey stargazers,

 

I was wondering if you have any experience in using ZEQ 25's PEC correction. I think for some reason my mount has more PE than it is expected, so I was wondering if I can somehow prevent it. I read the manual, but it's very incomprehensive. It says I should put my guiding scope in guiding position and ofc connect to computer and start recording the PE. Don't I need a software or program to do anything? Or should I manually guide a star in the center? Or I just let it be? Help is appreciated. Thanks in advance,
