Propeller Nebulae

Hi.

Located in Cygnus is the faint Nebulae known as the Propeller.

I imaged this with my ED 80 and Atik 314l+.

Using a 12nm H-Alpha Filter i took  12x900 sec subs.

I then took 9x600 sec subs in RGB Binned 2x2.

I dont think i will bin again.

Calibrated with Darks/Flats and Bias Frames.

Processed in Photo-shop.

Cheers.

Mick.

Hi Wim.

I found that the blue image had quite large stars, and i had to do some star reduction, which i,m not a big fan of.Also i did noticed more noise in the images at 2x2.

Even at 2x2 there was hardly any nebulae visible in both the green and the blue.

Mick.

Oh thanks as well.

I think that is to be expected, since it's mostly Ha (red). The rgb is only used to get natural looking stars.
