The easiest way would be to get a plug and socket pair same as those already fitted and make an extension lead wired pin to pin... 1 -> 1 , 2-> 2 etc.. that way your not opening any plugs or the gear so no warranty issues ...

Should be a easy if you know which end of a soldering iron gets hot :undecided:

Even I know what end gets hot. Well at least I think I do.
