EQ AZ 6 Altazimuth mode help

Hi,

In Altaz mode do I still have the mount/scope pointing north?

Just need clarification as 2 star alignment is successful however go to is terrible and way out and about 2 degrees from the eyepiece. 

Another really weird thing is that on command to slew to Saturn it did so albeit not even in the eyepiece and also the same with mars however on Jupiter it wouldn’t slew even though the handset said slewing to. Totally bizarre.

From memory you just need to level and have the scope pointing North.

Do you have the time and date all correct? Any slip in the clutches? I found that the 6 was generally very accurate, lovely mount.

Yes my previous 6 was stunningly accurate.
