WinJupos Instructions

Recommended Posts

Rather than all the endless tutorials that explain the basics without any depth, is there a plain and simple guide that just explains what each of the various settings in WinJupos actually do?

I have managed to use it as a basic level, but attempting to go deeper into what it can do just doesn't work.

Trial and error indicates it is possible to 'crop out' the edges of images so that only the best, central data is used, but I am struggling to understand exactly what to enter to achieve different results.

I have enough data to compile a virtually full map of Jupiter, but I am having zero luck with combining different sessions, because I get more artefact than image in the results.

Also is there a simpler way to adjust LD values, such as entering numbers? I am on the verge of RSI tryng to adjust them with dozens of clicks for each image and this makes trial an error infuriating.

Also, does anyone else trying to download the latest version get a warning that the site contains pornography...

Jupiter is always changing, so perhaps the changes in appearance will make making a map harder?

No, its not just poor alignment between different day's data, it's things like images overlaid with black lines like someone pulling around a venetian blind.
