This was taken the same night as my Horsehead Flame capture Thursday morning from 00:30 to gone 3:00am with the system left running whilst I slept. :sleepy1:

Taken with a APM TMB 105, Televue 0.8 FF/FR, QHY8 CCD and guided with a 102mm Bresser/DSI-II using PHD. Exposure 29 x 5 mins subs stacked in DSS Log(Sqr Root) curves applied, Dynamic Background Extraction in Pix Insight LE and finished in PSCS3 with Noels Actions.

Lol such an appropriate title! IIRC you had just woken when you PM'd me that night and switched to this one.

It's come out a treat hasn't it! Lots of nice contrast in the cloud and it has a real depth to it. Next clear moon free night I'm going to try and do this one justice with the 72 + FR, as it fits nicely into the centre of the frame.

Glenn - the stretching is done in DSS when the "autosave.tif" file loads you can change the stretch function applied to each chanel by left clicking the box on the left hand side of the sliders...
