Modified PST image of today's prom - Oct 8th

Taken at F30...with the Skynyx 2-0m on a PST...

Have also taken the same image with the SV50, and the PST CaK (though the surface in CaK was very very dull!)

Not saying anything else...

Now this may be difficult to grasp at first..

This is an F50 CaK shot on an 80mm scope..

The area imaged is about the size of a postage stamp on a basketball.., seeing not great, Sun low ish, and some thermal build up in the tube...

Skynyx at F50 on a CaK80..

Still awaiting the dichroic IR filter to stop the heat a bit more...but this in 300 frames.. imaging the whole disc at this resolution...
