barkis
An open cluster in Canes Major, about four degrees south of Sirius. It's low declination is perhaps responsible for it's seemingly being unpopular as a target for imagers. At least that's what it seems to me, but I don't recollect seeing much in the way of Images of this attractive object. I now envisage of ' Nay Lad, you're wrong. Loads have been posted, you just haven't seen them' Image below is not mine, but to show how nice a target it is, in spite of having to image through a lot of earths atmosphere.
