Megrez 90 and New Toys

Hi All,

As I am re-starting again, here are some piccies of my somewhat basic kit. The mount was purchased from Aaron and does a pretty good job with the Megrez 90 on board, even with the handgranade EP. I bough the Ethos 13mm as I used to own a Naglar and remember what 82 degrees looked like. The Ethos is astounding.

I'll second that - I own a Megrez 90 which is piggybacked on an LX200. I primarily use it for wide field imaging but am always reminded of the optical quality whenever I put an eyepiece in it. I imagine it is amazing with something like the Ethos.

Cool

Or you can have the C17th style of observing.......... I'll get me coat. The scope is a hand built Kelperian type refractor. 2 inch objective and eyepiece, focal length 40 inches or around F13.3 yielding around x20. Lots of paper and leather. The design dates from roughly 1630.

Just don't point it at bright things!
