Picked this up on Amazon for £129. Took a couple of shots of the moon

One @ 25x & the other @ 75x. Bit of a job trying to get anything . It  was 

still light when they were taken. One of those impulse buys , again.

With the name Praktica, I was kind of expecting something 1950s vintage.  They appear to have sold the name for marketing purposes like Polaroid and Kodak.

I am afraid it is just a marketing brand now . It was a old company that made 

good cameras. My next door neighbour has got one. Loads of brands have the 

same spotting scopes now days.
