help with dark centres with registar

Hi

Does anybody know how to not get dark centres in the brighter stars when using REGISTAR to align my subs please.

That I could cure.

In Maxim they are fine but when I try to align the Ha O3 and r,g,b's in registar the dark centres appear.

Am I right in assuming that these bright star centres appear once you combine the disparate images rather than when looking at them as individual 'channels'?

Steve they appear as soon as Iload them into registar.

Oddly it seems to be this PC.

I have registar on the laptop for the field and it works fine on there and on the old 32 bit PC.

I am in touch with Auriga Imaging and will let you know if they solve it.

Solved - I was treating the data as unsigned when in fact it is signed
