Double galaxy treat

Enjoyed a great evening of observing again last night with my 16 inch dob in mag 5 skies.

Working Leo minor and Ursa major. Picking off galaxies as yet unseen.

The highlight was the double Arp104..Two interacting galaxies. Both were relatively easy with averted vision but of course I could not seen Keenan's bridge between the galaxies.

Thanks. I've now added this to my Sky Safari observing list for next time out...

Just moved the dob in the shed for the SN in Ursa Major so if I get out then I will have a crack at 5216/5218 too.
