Kaliska
Well, here is my first ever DSO image, yes it's very grainy (need to go through more tutorials with PixInsight) and I think my focusing needs to be a lot sharper next time, but that will come eventually. Gerry Casa Christiana
Very well done indeed. You must be very pleased with that. How many frames etc. What's your setup. Kind regards Gerry
Kaliska
Thank you, and yes, I'm very pleased with it (when i saw the very first image pop up on my screen on saturday night, i could hardly contain my excitement lol). I'm using a SW 80ED with a modded Canon 600D (unguided as i couldnt get the Altair GPCAM to connect to my computer) on a AZ EQ6 GT mount. 10x 45sec lights, 5x 60sec lights and 5x 60sec darks all at iso800, stacked in DSS and post processing in PixInsight. Kaliska
And this was the second target of my first evening of imaging. 14x 45sec lights and 5x 45sec darks at iso800. All/any advice greatly appreciated.
