Well that was the plan

Alarm set for 4am...clear but with cloud on the horizon... had a quick flit around a few objects and even took some pics of the moon :shock:

Could see the belt sliding star by star from behind the trees then the sword...

I was hoping to grab M42 at ISO200 was all setup waiting for it to appear from behind the trees Trapezium reigon appears on the guidecam... grabbed a few subs of it with the guidecam then faded from view as the cloud rolled in :crybaby:

Still hoping...

Ah well 6.30 too light to do anythign even if the sky cleared and tiem to packup...

Nope i think the text before the pic might have given the game way a bit

I Just decided to take one of the "enemy" for a change as there wasn't a lot else to do

Might add the trapezium images this evenign if they can be "salvaged"....

funnily enough Steve I used similar words when the cloud obscurred M42/m3 just as i was about to kick off the sequence The dong dong from PHDGuide was very soulful as it lost the guide star
