A call for help to observe....

PDS-110, a potential eclipsing disked planet found in WASP and KELT.

Earlier this year we had a very bright PhD student come to talk at Seething about the discovery his team made at Warwick using data from the Kepler Space Telescope.  Hugh is no longer a PhD student and works for ESA, and is asking for help from observers with smaller telescopes to observe the above. Probably easier from more Southerly latitudes, but for those interested here's the link http://pds110.hughosborn.co.uk/

Thanks, Chris.

[Mods, not sure if here or the Astro Lounge is the most appropriate location for this post, feel free to move as you see fit, thanks].

Have you posted the request on CN ?

They have mentioned in the past getting amateur involvement and this looks a nice one off oppurtunity to have a go. I see AAVS is mentioned but if not on the forum and in front of people it could be missed. Also they tend to be further siuth then we are so better observing and measuring situation.

Good suggestion, but am more active on here, and there are already some observatories agreeing to take a look (the power of Twitter).  So thought I'd give folks on here the opportunity to take a look.
