Green Laser Finderscope

I was on holiday in Rome recently and one evening was on a high veranda checking out the southern horizon when a super bright green laser dot played across the wall a couple of meters from me. There were street sellers down below selling laser pointers and other gadgets to tourists. This did worry me a bit and I retreated out of the line of sight of the street below.
