Focus issues with Intes 815D

I recently purchased a gorgeous Intes 815D. The chap I bought it off also sold me a featihertouch Crawford for it. However I have found that with a diagonal on the focuser most of my eyepieces will not come to focus. I have the mirror focus knob turned as far as it will  clockwise - means the mirror is a far down the tube as it can go.. (NOTE THE IS RIGHT DIRECTION) as the stars are coming to focus however I am about 5mm of travel short of the focus going inwards to achieve correct focus. So I need to shorten the length of the focuser. the length of the focuser on the enclosed image is 84 to 85mm in when fully racked in. I need a focuser that is shorter in construction than this one. Any suggestions....
