Clear night last night. Moon very high with Jupiter just to the East.

Algol - Don't know what the skies in the UK are doing at the moment, but I guess it's not good.

The skies here are variable at the moment and the local astro community says September is not usually good. The warmer weather going into Spring/Summer apparently causes a lot of cloud.

So far in September I've been out on 3 clear nights - better than I managed in 2/3 months in the UK before I came out to NZ. Can't grumble !
