A bright star and some red stuff.

Hi All,

Here is last nights effort using the 600D and 100-400L lens at 400mm, would have liked 200mm but telegraph wires are in my way.

It's 21 x 5min subs at ISO800 and 1 x 10min sub to finish at ISO400, all unguided so the 10min sub was just to see how good the CGEM would do, and it did good.

So here's the result of the gorgeous region of Sadr, (processed in PI) wish i could do it justice but i've not processed anything like this before so any tips would be appreciated.

That is spectacularly good considering the phase of the Moon over the last couple of nights....   any filterage ??

I just used my usual LP clip filter as imaging E/ES is looking over the town with it's glorious sodium lamps .
