Bristol March For Science: Saturday 22 April 2017

Just a quick heads up for this event. I believe the idea is to raise the profile of science generally and similar events are happening in a number of cities on Earth Day, Saturday the 22nd April 2017.

Myself and some colleagues from Bristol Astronomical Society will be in Millenium Square Bristol (by the @Bristol centre) along with many other stalls etc. We will be (hopefully) doing some solar astronomy with PST's and my white light setup from around 10:30 am until 2:30 pm. We won't be going on "the March" !

There will also be some speakers including Chris Packham and Dr Simon Singh I believe.

If anyone is in the area on Saturday and fancies saying "hello" it would be great to see you !
