Hi,i know this may sound stupid but can any one tell me what the setup is to connect phd2 to my cgx mount,i am using a qhy5 guide camera.

CGX = from Celestron ? right ?? if so, then you need to download

ASCOM + http://download.ascom-standards.org/ASCOMPlatform63.exe 

ASCOM DRIVER for CELESTRON MOUNTS http://download.ascom-standards.org/drivers/Celestron(6.0.5978)Setup.exe

And then connect with PHD2 and CALIBRATE with PHD2, once connection + Calibartion is done, guidng will start..

Else, you could also google for PHD2 + CGX and you will get a lost of results..
