Managed to get an M42 with the 130P-DS at last, although the moon wiped out any chance of getting faint nebulosity and thin haze has probably softened the detail a bit.

Best of 103 frames 230s @ iso800 plus 103 5s frames just for the trapezium.

Thanks. It shows the potential of the 130P-DS for when there's a moonless night. I just need a tree-mover as in a few weeks Orion will be out of my 'comfort zone' :-(
