Eskimo Nebula

My main target for observation this evening was NGC 2392 The Eskimo Planetary Nebula, only ever seen this object with reflectors in th 150mm to 300mm range and was wondering how the 90mm f10 Sky Watcher refractor would fare I was pleasantly surprised how well it done with a 9mm eyepiece at 101X. Always great to hunt this object down partly  because of the famous 1990 Hubble image.Tried a tougher test later attempting to split Rigel with the same scope ,not really surprised I couldn't as I often find Rigel difficult  even with my 200mm newt and though this occasion  the sky was fairly transparent the bright image of Rigel was  rolling and boiling .:happy6:
