You should appreciate this one Olly--almost brooding--but detail is mot lost.  Seemed dark at first.

Actually--here is a blend of the lum from the image above with the chroma of  my favorite pallete.  I will spare you all the dozen or so various blends I experimented with.  There was some clipped data in the dark areas I could not abide.

All said and done--this is the one I decided is the best.  Mostly due to the faint stuff being visible and the body remaining the same.  Thank you Olly for your input.
