AA filter removal - Is it worth it?

Hi all,

All said in the title really. I use a EOS 550D with a 150mm F12 Mak-cass to image planets/lunar/solar. Would I get a noticeable increase in resolution if I remove the low-pass anti-aliasing filter? I was thinking of going to cheap astrophotography to get the camera modified.
