[Knight of Clear Skies]

Returning to some data from last year that I was never able to get to grips with previously, here's a new version of my M31.

200mm lens at f3.5 on a modded Canon 100D, a mix of 60 and 75 second unguided subs for about 1h30m of data in total. I'm definitely much happier with the colour balance now, previously I was struggling against a purplish hue. I've also managed to bring out more of the halo - there is a bit more in the data but it becomes increasingly difficult to separate it from the background.

Hope you like it. No doubt I'll look at it again tomorrow and want to start tweaking, but for now I'm done.

Wow they're fantastic images. Very well done. I do like the first one, the core is more intact and im not sure if its just my eyes but the dust lanes look sharper.
