what am i seeing?  with certain cloud i can see a large blue mass(?)  blob(?) piece in the center of the star and what seems like an expulsion of matter on the top right quad.  am i alone?  i am an amateur  not even.....mo  i do have binocs......

Betelgeuse should have a reddish tinge too it naked eye. Are you sure that's what you are observing? Can you describe where you are looking? (constellation, position, etc).
