Nikon DSLR & Baader MPCC spacing

OK, I'm all searched out but cannot find the exact answer to my question.

I understand that Nikon and Canon have different flange to sensor distances of 46.5 & 44mm respectively.

The Baader MPCC requires 55mm back focus.

How is this 55mm achieved? Could it be that the respective T-rings are of differing thicknesses to provide the correct spacing?

This image suggests this to be the case but appears to be specific to Canon...Will a Nikon T-ring be thinner to compensate?

I used to use a D7100 with the Baader MPCC and all I had fitted was the MPCC and T-Ring adapter.  This gives the optimum back focus of 55mm, no other rings or spacers were needed to get this.

Hope that helps

Thanks, that's good to know as both models (in fact most modern Nikons I think) use the same F mount system with the same spacing. Sounds like it should work OK for me then.

How were your results with the MPCC?
