Permanent Pier drift alignment

Hi Folks,

After getting frustrated with the setting up of my imaging kit I thought about an observatory, so went to work and CNC'd cut some totally over engineered parts for the roof and decided maybe just having the mount alone in a box witha pier may cut down the hastle.

If you take the scope and cameras off every time how often do you think you would need to re-drift align given that there might be some small distubance overtime with the dismantling?

Does anybody else do this instead of the full obsy?

Thanks

for any feedback

Campbell
