Olly, which driver does Nebulosity use for the Atik? Also, isn't the read speed controlled from the camera driver? Just a thought...

I think it's worth carefully examining the values in the two sets of lights - there may be some obvious crucial difference in the way they've been stored that will then lead you to the cause.  Or post 1 raw of each here so others might take a look.

Thanks, I'll look into this when I get a sec. Mysteriously the usual flats worked perfectly again this morning on the data I took last night. I did reboot the Mac as a precaution.

Wonderful image with great colours and detail. I really like the way the overlaid nebulae with strikinkly different colours gives the image a strong feeling of depth.
